The lockout is officially OVER! The fantasy football season begins in 3..2..1

You may have had your own fantasy of the season being expunged by some stroke of fate ( a lockout, a football strike or the Rapture), but the big balls have spoken – the show will go on.

It’s going to be hard at first, but that’s what we are here for. A place to make you stronger – to give you tips on awesome food to make for Sunday games, a place to have all your football and fantasy football questions answered in a girl type of way. A place to unite, to give in and be the sexy wife who stands by your man no matter what!

This also means that your Sunday’s with your husbands are officially over and will resume in 6 months.

Therefore you could do one of the following:

OPTION (1) – The Bad Option

Cry
Bitch
Whine
Complain
Huff and puff
Refuse to hear anything about his fantasy football team
Throw his phone/computer/TV remote into the trash
‘Hold out’

or

OPTION (2) – The Good Option

Get excited
DON’T BITCH ABOUT IT
Be involved with his team
Learn about fantasy football
Make awesome ‘football’ food for the guys
Reward him if he wins
Reward him if he loses (with an even better reward) x
Learn the basics
Know who his quarterback & cheer him on
(it’s the easiest one to remember – the only one who throws the ball and is usually hot!)
Wear sexy football shirts (and yummy baggy sweatpants) while watching the game
Watch SuperBowl, NOT just for the commercials

Trust us, it’s a lot more fun to part of his team rather than sitting on the sidelines, hating every moment of it. If Football is not your thing, think about it this way – he does a lot of things for you that are not ‘his thing’ (aka: picking out window treatments at Ikea). And if you think you will somehow train him to not like it anymore, that’s like telling a dog not to bark, the sun not to shine. Yup, you get the picture – IT AIN’T GONA HAPPEN!

You’ll see, it’s really fun if you get into it! I promise… I am a veteran wife of almost 3 years and I’m looking forward to the season and helping wives across the nation find a way to enjoy it too!

If you show you are interested and get involved, he will love you for it and be able to brag that his wife is the only one who doesn’t complain all football season long. Trust us, that his sexiest ‘fantasy’ this season! That and you in an NFL thong!
